My name is Chris Beckley, and I am the Grand Knight this fraternal year. If you are a new brother Knight seeing this for the first time or a Catholic man, 18 years or older (or know such a man), then I would like to personally welcome you! For all my brother Knights reading this – vivat Jesus!
The Knights of Columbus has been a blessing since I joined at the start of 2015. It has continually provided me an opportunity to grow in charity, in the virtuous life, and in communion with the Catholic Church along with like-minded Catholic gentlemen. As our pastor, Fr. Fisher, has quoted from Proverbs 27:17:
Iron is sharpened by iron;
one person sharpens another.
I believe this is an apt way to describe the Knights over all. We are a group of Catholic men, working side by side to support each other, our Church, and the world. I am very blessed to have all of my brother Knights of our council and throughout the world to pray for me, work alongside me, protect my family, and help me to get to heaven.
